Tollywood beauty Rakul Preet Singh teamed up with the Kollywood hero Karthi and is coming up with the movie ‘Dev’ under the direction of Rajat Ravi Shankar. The shooting of the movie was supposed to take place in Kulu Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
However, the incessant rains have been lashing various districts of Himachal Pradesh and Kulu Manali is one of them. Due to the heavy rainfall, the shooting of the movie got halted and 140 movie team members who went for the shooting were stuck at the top of the mountain with no food and communication. In fact, the movie unit planned to can some scenes in rain with a waterfall in the backdrop. The shooting went well for a few days the rainfall got increased from Sunday and became impossible for the unit members to continue the shoot. On the other hand, Karthi stated that he was stuck in the car for 4 to 5 hours and the movie unit suggested him to stay in the nearby village for safety reasons.
Karthi added that the local people officials claimed that it will take at least 28 hours for the traffic to get cleared and his team members are left there with no communication and food. It seems like the producer of the film got a loss of 1.5 crores with the rains.
