Kareena Kapoor aka “Bebo” who acted in some bold movies in the past like “Heroine” is now creating ripples in bollywood with her statements. She made it clear that she is not going to act in films which contain high glamour element.
She is saying ‘NO’ to films even with big hero if there are high romance and lip lock scenes. According to the sources, she turned down offers which has Emraan Hashmi and Hrithick Roshan on lead roles due to this glamour aspect. In the present scenario we see many heroines getting ready to do steamy scenes if they are offered good projects.
These days top heroines like Madhuri Dixit, Deepika Panukone, Katrina Kaif etc who are going to an extent, where they are doing item numbers with huge glamour quotient. So this is brave decision from Bebo at this point of her career. But the bone of contention is how safe are the producers who consider her for their films. “Will it be boon or ban for them ?” is the question which is raising in everybody’s mind.
We will have to wait and see what kind of effect does these statements from Bebo have on her career.
