Dhyan Chand had been Indian Pride and a really big name in the Hockey World. And a biopic on him, surely intrigues our brain cells. The Olympic Medal Winner, and an uber talented sportstar, Dhyan Chand inspired too many souls. His story is worth a tell.
Buying the rights of the film, Karan Johar, resorted to Twitter to announce this piece of news. He posted, “My friends Pooja…Aarti Shetty and I are honoured and proud to have the rights to tell the story of the legendary sportsman #DHYANCHAND…”.
Now that the rights have been bought, we have an extremely important question unanswered. Who will essay the role of the legendary sportsman? Will it be Shah Rukh Khan? Earlier there were too many speculations and SRK’s name as Dhyan Chand, sprung too often. But there is no confirmation as of now.
More details about the film are yet to come and the official announcement about the cast and crew is quite awaited. We would love if K’Jo and SRK unison is witnessed again on the silver screen.
