Karan Johar is one of the most celebrated filmmakers in the country. In a career spanning over 22 years, Karan has never scored a flop in his career. Staring his career with blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, he went on to make many blockbusters like Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham, Student of the Year and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
The director is now honored by Madame Tussauds by making a wax replica. He unveiled the statue earlier today in Madame Tussauds Singapore. He was accompanied by his mother Hiroo Johar and she was elated to see the replica of her son. Karan is the first Indian filmmaker to get a wax statue in Madame Tussauds.
Many celebrities across Bollywood like Farah Khan, Malaika Arora, Manisha Koirala, Punit Malhotra and Sophie Chowdary have congratulated Karan for his achievement. Coming to the career front, Karan is now prepping up to direct his next film, Takht very soon.
