Bollywood’s talented and controversial actress Kangana Ranaut is coming with her latest film Manikarnika, which is all set to get released on January 25. Made as a biopic of warrior Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai, this film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut.
A few days back, religious group Karni Sena wrote a letter to the makers stating- “We have information that the film has some objectionable sequences where Rani Laxmibhai is shown having an affair with British official. If this is true, you will face serious consequences.”
Reacting on these statements, Kangana said- ” I will destroy all the Karni Sena members if they threaten us, even I’m a Rajput child. The censor board has no objection to releasing our film, why you guys are making an unnecessary fuss?” Last year, film Padmavat also faced similar threats ahead of its release.
