Naga Shourya and Sai Pallavi in Kanam

The film has a solid performance from Sai Pallavi. She is the primary highlight of the movie, and she is the only saving grace in the movie too. She did well within her limitations and impressed everyone. Naga Shourya is decent and looks good in the film. He has delivered a simple yet remarkable performance in the movie. Priyadarshi Pulikonda has played a decent role in the movie which irritates in the beginning but ends on a positive note. The child artist Veronica is too cute and has put her best in the film. The other actors like Gandhari Nithin, Santhana Bharathi, Rekha, Ravi and stunt Silva made their presence felt.

Minus Points:

Verdict:

The film Kanam discusses the issue of abortion, and the movie is dedicated to all those unborn lives. The film appears good and decent in the first half but the second half of the movie is entirely a letdown. The director has introduced the main point of the movie in the first half itself, but he has failed in efficiently executing the same in the second half. A lot of ups and downs in the second half of the movie brings a negative feel for the audiences. The hurried ending of the film is also a drawback. The central theme of the movie is good, but the cooked up factors around the same are not up to the mark. Except for the performance of Sai Pallavi, the film offers nothing else to appreciate about.
