We all know that versatile actor Kamal Hassan has signed a film titled "Viswaroopam", in which he is playing the lead role. Earlier director Selva Raghavan was roped to direct the film. But, now the latest news is that Kamal Hassan himself is directing the film. The exact reason for changing the director is not yet known, but as per the sources director Selva Raghavan is busy presently with the shooting of his current project "Irandam Ulagam" and he is postponing the Viswaroopam shooting. So the producer of Viswaroopam film doesn’t want to wait for Selva Raghvan until he gets relieved from his current project and asked Kamal Hassan to direct the film. Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is playing the female lead role opposite to Kamal Hassan.
Kamal Haasan is directing Viswaroopam apart from handling the story, screenplay, dialogue and lyrics. The film will now hit the floors on June 4th in London. Viswaroopam is the costliest film and the expected budget for the film is around 150 crores. The movie will be released in three languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Producer of the film is planning to release the film on November 7th.
