Universal hero Kamal Hassan, who is hailed as the only actor who can play any kind of character and make it believable, has completed 56 years as an actor. Calling him an actor would be understatement as he has served as lyricist, singer, producer, director choreographer etc. He has made his presence felt in all the film-making departments.
Kamal Hassan made his film debut on August 12th , 1959 with a Tamil movie “Kalathur Kannamma”. Kamal has successfully completed his 56 years of film journey on yesterday. He is a one of legend actor in south film industry!!
Indian Government has honored him with Padma Sri and Padma Bhushan awards already and he is still going strong at the age of 60 plus. Already this year has seen two of films, ’Uttama Villain’ and ‘Paapanasam’ hitting screens. He has recently finished the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ and his ‘Viswaroopam 2’ will hit screens soon.
