Kaatrin Mozhi is the popular movie starring Jyothika in the lead. This Tamil film released recently and it is the official remake of the Bollywood movie Tumhari Sulu. The film released last month and it is produced by popular producer Dhananjayan who usually is a respectable person in the industry by everyone. He was recently vexed up with the way the council is behaving without giving the release slots. He felt that the role of a small budget flick producer is not less than a beggar.
“You know what’s the most painful aspect of producing a film, especially small & medium budget ones? Begging for screens & shows during its release from theatres, especially when it releases with few more films or a big film. You’ll be made to feel very small. Very frustrating. Honestly too many new Producers are producing small & medium films without knowing it’s very challenging to recover even the investment. They are all hoping that somehow they will succeed commercially. Truth is only Producers with right connection can succeed. Others lose badly. Film industry has become the biggest gambling place for new Producers who come with lot of hopes & realise it’s a place where only ‘Big’ (big Producers or Artistes/ Technicians as Producers) can succeed with their right connection.
