It was a few weeks ago that the rumours about actress Jyothika’s return to the silver screen made the news and the fans were thrilled with the news. The Kakka Kaaka star hadn’t been part of the movie biz since 2009 when she played a role in a Malayalam movie, which did not make it big in the end.
But even before that, she had taken a step back from movies, since her marriage to Singham star Suriya. The mother of two had made a few appearances with her husband in a few commercials along the years though.
Well, now there’s news on her comeback!
Yes, rumours are again flying around that her much awaited return might be opposite her husband itself in the new Pandiraj movie which launched yesterday in Chennai!
The flick had made it to the spotlight as the kids movie starring and to be produced by Suriya.
Suriya’s home company 2D Entertainment is producing the film in association with director Pandiraj’s Pasanga Productions. So this seems like a good chance for the lovely and very talented actress to take that fateful step back in to tinsel town.
Pandiraj had of course created a massive success with his previous movie focusing on kids, which also became the namesake of his company – Pasanga. It even earned the two kids who starred in the film a national award each for Best Child Artiste.
Another one along the same lines in terms of unique content and a fresh approach, adding Suriya’s star factor and maybe even Jyothika’s, could be quite a feast for the fans!
However, we still do not know if Jyothika has given her green signal for the project. Fingers crossed on that front..
The film’s cast so far as we know also includes Bindu Madhavi and two child actors.
Here’s hoping this one brings Jyothika back and repeats the Pasanga success!
