News just keeps on rolling in for the Gautham Menon – Ajith flick all the time, but this time it is an important one. The one thing that has been bugging the fans all throughout the production of the movie is that Gautham still had not picked out a title for the movie.
The fan community at large has been calling the movie Thala 55 or Ajith 55 as it is the actor’s fifty- fifth film. Now it seems there may be an update on that front!
Yes, the rumour mill has not disappointed us yet and it has churned out a fresh one just for you – sources say that the title of the mega flick could be ‘Sathya’. A simple title indeed but there is a reason of course.
Ajith’s character in the flick is called Sathyadev. Therefore, the name seemed apt to Gautham or so the reports indicate. Kollywood fans might remember there was another movie with the same name which came out in 1988 – Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s blockbuster flick!
Will history repeat itself and after 26 years will another blockbuster, this time with Ajith, be named the same? We wait for confirmation from the director, who has promised the fans that he will reveal the title officially this first week of August.
Meanhile, the shooting of the movie is progressing at a steady rate in and around Chennai. The cast, apart from Ajith, includes Anushka, Trisha, Baby Anikha Surendran, Thalaivasal Vijay and others.
Harris Jayaraj is the man composing the melodies for this one and like before, he has called on one of his favourite singers – Karthik – to lend his vocals to the some of the songs. Dan MacArthur weilds the camera.
The flick is aiming for a Diwali release.
