K Raghavendra Rao is one of the rare veteran directors who continue to make films even in this age of young filmmakers. It was a big surprise to know that he has been planning to direct young tiger NTR Jr in a VFX epic.
Raghavendra Rao is currently directing Nagarjuna Akkineni in a devotional film titled ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’. After watching the VFX wonder carved out by his protégé SS Rajamouli, ‘Baahubali’, it is heard that KRR has also decided to make such a Visual extravaganza. And, he chose NTR as the hero of his dream project.
No official announcement has been made about this, but the gossip is spread like wildfire in film circles. Moreover, this project will not go on floors until another two years as Raghavendra Tao wants to prepare the perfect script and study VFX technology before venturing into it.
Meanwhile, an announcement on NTR’s new project is likely to be made at the Ism audio launch.
