Jr. NTR’s father in law and popular industrialist Narne Srinivasa Rao is all set to join the YSR Congress Party. We hear that Mr. Rao will be contesting from Chilakaruripeta in this AP Assembly General elections. He is a close relative of TDP head Chandrababu Naidu and also worked for the party for a long time.
According to the sources, Narne met YS Jagan at the latter’s residence recently and joined the YSRCP in a formal hush-hush manner. Apparently, Jagan asked him for his services to YSRCP to which Rao has readily agreed. His popularity in Chilakuripeta constituency will be a boost for YSRCP, claims the sources.
We hear that the sole aim of Narne now is to see Jagan as the Chief Minister. Both TDP cadre and NTR stayed mum on this news. We have to see whether NTR will campaign for his father-in-law or just stay away from any political activities to avoid family tensions.
