NTR Jr and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya have reportedly agreed to play special roles in the upcoming biopic on ‘mahanati’ Savitri.
Senior filmmaker Ashwini Dutt is all set to take ‘Savithri’ biopic on floors with his son-in-law Nag Ashwin as the director. Short beauty Nithya Menen will essay the titular role. The influence of late legendary Telugu actors NTR and ANR in Savithri’s personal and professional life is unquestionable. She has acted in several films with the two stars.
With Savithri’s biopic being made, Ashwini Dutt has reportedly approached NTR Jr and Naga Chaitanya to play the roles of their legendary grandfathers on the silver screen. The duo is rumored to have agreed since they were special roles. An official announcement is awaited, though.
The craze for the film will be multifold if NTR and Chaitu were really seen as the legendary icons.
