Jiah Khan’s suicide – Mom seeks CBI probe

Mother of 25 year old late actress Jiah Khan, Rabiya, filed a fresh petition in the Bombay high court, stating that her daughter has been murdered, and sought a CBI enquiry into the case. “Rabiya feels that the investigation was not done properly. If you go by the medical opinion and other evidence, it would indicate something is missing as far as a suicide is concerned. Jiah Khan’s case is apparently a case of murder” – Dinesh Tiwari, Rabiya’s lawyer told IANS. Jiah’s then boyfriend Sooraj Pacholi was arrested and released post her death due to the allegations that he was responsible for her death. Sooraj however was released later due to the lack of concrete evidence. Jiah Khan was found hanging in her apartment few months ago. Her sudden death shocked the entire fraternity of Bollywood. She was 25.
