Talented actress and celebrated wife Jaya Bachchan celebrates her birthday today. The lady of the Bachchan House turned 66 and received a great surprise from her family; the Bachchans gathered to dine with her on the birthday eve. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who rushed from his Bhoothnath Returns promotion at New Delhi to home in Mumbai, enjoyed every bit of the get together and even tweeted his feelings.
“Rushing today after the promotions were over, caught the plane back to Mumbai and on landing went straigt to join the rest of the family for a quiet and cozy dinner to bring in Jaya’s birthday on the 9th..”
Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Baby Aaradhya, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, grandchildren Navya Naveli and Agastya were all there to be around Mama Bachchan.
“The children from Delhi are all here too and the house is filled with laughter and play. It is the most endearing moment in the life of any parent or grandparent” tweeted Big B, rejoicing over the reunion.
While Amitabh Bachchan awaits the release of his film Bhoothnath, Abhishek Bachchan will be soon seen on screen in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year. The HNY team has just begun the promotional activities for the film that has a star studded cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood. This would be Abhishek’s return to the marquee after Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan.
