It is always said by many people that he is not getting movie with content which tests his caliber and true potential. His movies might fail but as an actor he never fails. Koratala Siva who delivered two back to back blockbusters like Mirchi and Srimanthudu with Prabhas and Mahesh Babu teamed up with NTR Jr to make a movie in the name of Janatha Garage which has Mohanlal, Nithya Menon and Samantha bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. It has generated so much of hype among fans and audience with its trailers and songs. It is releasing into theatres today. Let’s see how it manages to entertain us!
Story
Satyam (Mohan lal) is a mechanic who lives in a village solving petty issues out there. He comes to Hyderabad with the idea given by his younger brother and sets up Janatha Garage and start repairing everything including human beings. Mukesh Rana (Sachin) is always affected with this and start to feel Janatha Garage as his enemy and kills Satyam’s younger brother. Anand (NTR) is a environment protector who spares nobody in the matter of saving environment. He comes to Hyderabad on college project from Mumbai and meets Satyam family through an environmental problem and then joins as a heir to Satyam in Janatha Garage. This makes Janatha Garage more powerful and more effective in solving people’s problems. It rages Mukesh Rana and people around him including Satyam’s son (Unni Mukundan). How Anand solve all the problems Janatha Garage face? How he save Janatha Garage? forms the rest of the story.
Cast and Performance
NTR is so intense and charming as well as surprising in his role as Anand. He never disappoint audience with his performance and his screen presence. He gave a performance which mounts to a himalayan range.
Mohanlal is major asset to this Janatha Garage after Ntr. He lived up to his good name the complete actor with his matured and complimenting performance.Both Ntr and Mohanlal defined the meaning of screen presence. Nithya Menon is fantastic and super cute and is looking so fresh. Samantha is at her as usual best. Jantha Garage mechanics like Brahmaji, Ajay, John, Benarjee, etc. are superb. Sachin as Mukesh Rana is apt. Devyani and Sithara are nice as well as Suresh in his role. Rajeev Kanakala is impressive. Sai Kumar is efficient. Unni Mukundan is fine and will have ample opportunities in Telugu after this. All others are used well for their roles.
Writing Department
Story of this Janatha Garage is simple yet emotional.The way Koratala Siva makes it entertaining is his trademark screenplay laced up with fantastic dialogues.
Technical Departments
Songs which are composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad are terrific and are chartbusters. He did magic with his background score which has taken movie to a level that it manages to touch audience right in the heart. Thirunavakkarasu aka Thiru is debuting into Telugu Industry with his super quality and beautiful visuals. He complimented the vision of Koratala Siva with his knack of capturing fantastic visuals. Editing done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is good. Art director Anand Sai did fantastic work with the sets he designed. Stunts are well choreographed by Anl Arasu. Production values are super rich.

Verdict
This movie begins with the evolution of Janatha Garage with the backup of an educated one in the family. It occupies roughly half an hour which sets the pace of the movie and introduce the basic emotion on which movie runs. Ntr is introduced simply with Pranamam song which has interesting moves which are captured very well by Thirunavakkarasu. This half is fully used in setting up the pace and story of the movie with introduction of all the characters which are very crucial in running of the movie. Quarry fight followed by a meeting of Ntr and Mohanlal takes this half to the level which is beyond the limits. Interval comes at this juncture leaving audience wait with a desperation to see Ntr joining Janatha Garage. After such a very classy first half, second half begins with Ntr solving problems as the heir of Janatha Garage where Koratala uses his talent in showing mass elements and make actors say dialogues which entertain audience big time. Director Koratala Siva is to be appreciated for using an intense and powerful actor like NTR in emotionally charged scenes. Those scenes prove what an actor NTR is. Second half unleashes actor NTR and writer Koratala at the same time.Kudos NTR and Koratala Siva for making a content driven film putting all the calculations aside. To summarise, Janatha Garage is a hat-trick for NTR Jr and Koratala Siva!!
