Jagan leads by 5,16,000 votes

Latest news is that YSR Congress party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was leading by about 5,16,000 votes in the bypolls to high-profile Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency in Andhra Pradesh. In Pulivendula assembly constituency, Jagan’s mother Vijayalakshmi was leading by about 94,000 votes over her brother-in-law and Congress nominee Y S Vivekananda Reddy

Counting of votes for the bypolls to Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh commenced here on Friday morning amid tight security.

Elaborate arrangements were made for the counting in the seats from where Jagan and his mother Vijayalakshmi, are seeking re-election after quitting Congress.
