On Wednesday evening, Income-Tax Officials conducted a surprising raid on noted Telugu producer Sai Korrapati’s office in Manikonda.
A nine-member team has reportedly conducted the raid for several hours. The exact reason for the sudden raid and the findings in the office are not yet officially announced.
IT raids are not new to the Telugu film industry people. IT officials often raid the offices of producers ahead of the release of their movies or after the success of their production ventures. But, the IT raid on Sai Korrapati has surprised everyone as he has not produced any commercial blockbuster lately.
Sai Korrapati’s latest production ‘Jyo Achyuthananda’ starring Nara Rohit, Naga Shourya, and Regina has been met with critical acclaim, but the box office performance is not blockbuster range. His previous film Manamantha starring Mohanlal was a commercial failure despite high critical acclaim.
