Director Madhura Sreedhar is one flustered soul these days. The director who made a debut with the film, SnehaGitham, went on to make films like It’s My Love Story and Back Bench Student, both of which did not fare well at the box office. The latest in the news on the director is that he is all set to make Shoojit Sirkar’s hindi blockbuster, Vicky Donor, in Telugu. The only challenge he faced – not finding a suitable hero to play the role. Madhura initially approached Nani, but the actor who is super busy off late in the industry, could not give him dates. The director later approached Rana Daddubati, who he thought was apt, but given that Rana is already busy with two magnum opuses, Rudramadevi and Bahubali for the next two years, could not commit as well. The director is now left with no other choice than actor Prince, who played the lead in his last film, Back Bench Student. Prince is apparently all available for the role and can deliver the dates. While one’s heart goes out for Sreedhar’s many obstacles, we heavily speculate a newcomer to live up to that role which created ripples in the Country. Eros Entertainment, which originally has the rights, is also contemplating the selling off in Tamil and other languages for the film remake.
