In ‘Chathrapathi’, Prabhas, who works as a slave in the village, emerges as a leader and turns messiah of poor. The story of Kabali is very much similar to Chatrapathi, we hear. In Kabali, Rajinikanth will be seen as a slave of Kabaleeswaran’s family, who will be sent to Malaysia to work in a rubber factory. Circumstances make Kabali turn a Don in Malaysia. How he saves his people follows next.
However, we have to wait until the release of the film to find out if it’s true or not. Kabali is gearing up for a grand release on 15th July, but the makers have yet to make an official announcement about the release date.
Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film has Radhika Apte and Dhansika playing key roles.
