The very first song from the most awaited flick Happy New Year is out and it is a visual extravaganza. It made waves as soon as it released on the web. It has created ripples already and is the talk of the town.
Indiawaale captures the essence of the film and the glitterati just shines too bright. Featuring the whole cast Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah, the visual extravaganza just got better. Chic and adept techniques, in classy and ubercool backdrop the song will make you see when Bollywood goes grand; this is what it looks like.
The song has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar, and is penned down by Irshad Kamil. Lending vocals are Vishal Dadlani, KK, Shankar Mahadevan and Neeti Mohan. The song has been shot in two versions and we can see glimpses of both the versions.
“IndiaWaale is the first of its kind song. A Dance Anthem for sure! It gives you goose bumps and also forces you to get up and dance. It was truly the most difficult song to crack as not only I but Vishal-Shekhar and IrshadBhai (Kamil) had to think of today’s patriotism and make a song around that. Today what we feel for our country is so different from the sentiments of the 70s and 80s. It’s really a song that encapsulates all that makes us uniquely INDIAWAALE,” said Director Farah Khan.
The official statement from the makers reads a very quirky disclaimer that captures the essence of the song. It says,
“Disclaimer: This note has been issued in the public interest of all citizens. No matter which age group you belong to, or which profession you are in and what you are planning to do with the rest of the day, please carry your dancing shoes along. The first song of Happy New Year, IndiaWaale has released and this might result in foot-tapping, matching the steps of the star-cast and even some unique crazy dancing”.
