The winner of Indian Idol2, Sandeep Acharya unfortunately passed away yesterday. The young singer, 29, captivated music lovers with his mermerising voice and shot to popularity with National Singing contest, Indian Idol. He was battling with Jaundice at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon, where he breathed his last.
Sandeep was in the process of releasing his new album, O Sanam Tere Bina, this month. Many celebrities like Shreya Goshal, Sonu Nigam, Farah Khan, Anu Malik and Mini Mathur, who built a close bonding with the singer via Indial Idol, expressed shock and denial over his demise.
