Star Akkineni Nagarjuna, who has taken up distribution business under the home banner, will start off his venture with his own upcoming film Bhai, directed by Veerabadram Chowdary. The actor spoke to IANS lately and explained his plans – “I don’t plan to do this aggressively because im only testing the waters with Bhai. I will see the response to my film and then decide on the next course of action. It’s a different ball game and I don’t want to take any hasty decision” he said. When asked if he has any plans to distribute films that are lying in the shelves due to the lack of funding, Nag said, “First of all, not all the films lying in the cans are good. There is a misconception that hundreds of good films are lying in the cans. Why would any producer not want to back a good film? Most of the good films get picked up and what is left is not up to the mark”. Explaining the dynamics of business, Nag added, “Distribution has a lot to do with economics, and therefore, one needs to be very careful. I will let the time decide” he signed off. Bhai is all set to release this month and stars Richa Gangopadhyay in the female lead.
