Actress Deepika Padukone, who was in the City lately to promote her upcoming film with Ranveer Singh, Ram Leela, said that she is a huge fan of Venkatesh in one of the interviews.
The actress who hails from a Kannada speaking family said that as Telugu is quite close to Kannada as a language, she is familiar with the films here. Given a chance, she would surely like to act opposite Venky.
Deepika was earlier considered as a female lead for Gabbar Singh2 which did not see any concrete confirmation. However, the lady has no hang ups about acting in Telugu.
Apart from Ram Leela, Deepika will also be seen in Kochadaiyaan, a Tamil magnum opus starring Superstar Rajinikanth. Padukone plays the leading lady in the film. The film will release in Telugu with title ‘Vikramasimha’.
Deepika and Ranveer are in the news and gossip recently for their larger than screen chemistry and vibes that seem beyond friendship. The couple, however, have denied any relationship.
