Handsome and macho hero Rana Daggubati has planned his career with great perfection ever since he debuted with Sekhar Kammula’s Leader. He also made debut in Bollywood with impressive films like Dum Maaro Dum, Baby opposite biggies like Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, etc.
But the real breakthrough came when Rana played the role of Bhallala Deva in Rajamouli’s Baahubali. While Rana is busy with the second installment of Baahubali, he kept doing films like Bangalore Naatkal, etc and he has yet another interesting project in the pipeline titled Ghazi, which is India’s first submarine-based film war film.
As per the latest reports, the film is being made on a whopping 70 Crores budget. Due to underwater sequences and submarine sets, the budget for the film has increased. The makers are leaving no stone untruned to make the film a blockbuster in the history of Indian cinema.
The film is about the Pakistani submarine, PNS Ghazi, which sank off the coast of Vizag while going to the Bay of Bengal. This was during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The shooting of the film will be completed by the end of March and the makers are planning to release the film in May. Hope the hard work of Rana & Team Ghazi pays off.
