Tollywood is the only film industry that produces quality films with massive budgets in India after Bollywood film industry. With Baahubali, we also proved that we are not less than Hollywood filmmakers. Compared to the last year, Tollywood has come a long way regarding film-making and story-telling. A lot of new age filmmakers entered the film industry. 2017 is coming to an end in 60 days. Like every year, we have decided to come up with an analysis on the result of the Telugu films at the box office this year. More than 200 films must have made their way to the theatres this year, and we can expect more than 12 films in the next two months.
The box-office result is measured in two ways. The first one is to declare a film blockbuster by considering the collections, and the next one is to claim it as a successful movie by believing the word of mouth, reviews, and the public response. This year, there are a decent number of films that took the success path. There are also flops which are apparent in any film industry.

The hit films which released this year so far are Khaidi No 150, Gautamiputra Satakarni, Shatamanam Bhavati, Nenu Local, Ghazi, Ninnu Kori, Fidaa, Anando Brahma, Jai Lava Kusa, Mahanubhavudu, Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Raja The Great and the recently released Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi. A few big budgeted flicks proved to be costly failures, and a few did average business.

Baahubali The Conclusion that released this year can be termed as a huge blockbuster so far. Arjun Reddy that released in August is also a big hit in small budgeted flicks. Fidaa also turned as blockbuster for 2017.
