Gautham Menon’s Thala 55 is progressing fast and smoothly but that’s not all that is going on at the sets apparently. From the reports we are getting, it seems the cast and crew of the flick are more like a family these days – a very busy family, but a family nonetheless…
And like every family, here too the head of the family donned the role of the chef (for a second time) to feed the rest of the hungry members.
We are talking about Thala Ajith preparing a meal for the entire cast and crew of course! He has been known to do this and did this once before at the very same sets, but this time he had some welcome company – Arun Vijay!
Yes, Arun Vijay, who plays a baddie in the flick, thought it only fit to join the hero in his efforts to fill the stomachs of the rest, and turns out he was very good at it. The meal was prepared and served, and the whole attempt was a success.
In fact, Trisha thanked ‘Chef Ajith’ for satiating the hunger of everybody present on her Facebook page.
Way to go Thala!
Now as far as the filming is concerned, the portions with Ajith, Trisha and Baby Anikha are being shot right now, in and around Chennai. Day before yesterday, some important scenes in a train were canned which involved the three.
Trisha plays Ajith’s wife and Anikha plays their daughter. These, however, form only part of the whole story that has Ajith in varying ages. Anushka plays his leading lady in the other parts. She is set to return to the sets once the portions with Trisha are done.
Harris Jayaraj is the man composing the tunes for the movie while Dan Macarthur is wielding the camera.
The film is aiming for a Diwali release.
