Tamil hero Karthi Sivakumar, who is known to Telugu audiences also with his films "Yuganiki Okkadu" and Awara and he is also a brother of another hero Suriya is all set to tie the knot with Ranjani on July 3rd, 2011. Ranjani is a literature graduate and gold medalist from Stella Maris and she is a daughter of Erode based Chinnasamy and Jyothi Meenakshi.
This news has been confirmed by Karthi’s father Sivakumar, who is also an actor in Tamil. As per the sources this is purely an arranged marriage and the venue of the wedding is not yet decided.
Hero Karthi said that "Actually, my mother has been looking out for a girl for a long time now. Arranged marriage did sound like a scary option, but when I met Ranjani and spoke to her for over an hour, I was convinced that she was the one for me."
Karthi’s father, Sivakumar stated that, ‘We want all his colleagues and fans to give their blessings and wishes to the couple on this joyous occasion."
