Everyone is evolving with the choice of making content driven films and he is not making that choice as he is focusing only on commercial aspects. This has become his disadvantage and he is now coming with Trinadha Rao Nakkina of Nenu Local fame for the film “Hello Guru Prema Kosame”, produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Cinema. Let’s see how it works on us as it releases into theatres today.
Story
Sanju (Ram Pothineni) is a careless and jobless guy who lives in Kakinada with his family. He joins an IT company as trainer due to the pressure from his family. On the way to Hyderabad, he happens to meet Anu (Anupama Parameswaran) and falls for her. Her father (Prakash Raj) gives him place to stay and he gets ample time to make Anu fall in love with him. He also tries to impress his colleague (Pranitha Subhash) in his office. They both start falling for each other. Anu’s father fixes a marriage proposal for her and Sanju rejects his colleagues love proposal. Why did he reject? Whom is he loving? What happened to his love? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.
Cast and performance
Ram Pothineni has done a fantastic job in his role. His energetic mannerisms and his handsome looks are added advantages. Anupama Parameswaran as Anu is good. She looks gorgeous and she performed well when required. Pranitha Subhash is okay in her limited role. Prakash Raj is superb as father of Anupama and also a friend of Ram. Posani Krishna Murali is good. Aamani is nice. Eswari rao and all other actors has done well in their respective roles.
Writing Department
The story of Hello Guru Prema Kosame is very routine. Screenplay is written in a mediocre way and dialogues has more of rhyming than meaning.
Technical Departments
Songs composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad are okay. They are not so well connected to audience as he delivered pretty ordinary songs. He has not done his best in composing background score. This movie is a disappointment from him. Cinematography by Vijay K Chakravarthy is good. He shot eye appealing visuals. Editing could have been much better. Production values are apt.

Verdict
Hello Guru Prema Kosame is a story of triangular love story. How a guy who doesn’t care his career has finally transformed into a responsible guy and win the love of a girl. Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina who impressed audience with his commercial films has made an okayish film with Ram Pothineni. Though the story is very routine, he narrated with a fresh take but made it an okay film. The first half of this film doesn’t bore you and even doesn’t entertain you that much and passes off just okay with the comedy sequences. The second half is where actual boredom starts and it has some very meant to be emotional moments. This spoils the actual film and makes this film just watchable. Good songs help a movie to become half success but Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad has scored just okay songs and they act as another hindrance. To sum up, Hello Guru Prema Kosame is an okay film to watch this festive season.
