Harris says it’s refreshing to work on a full-fledged and hugely anticipated action thriller musical after a while. Harris- Gautham duo had gifted the fans with a few chart toppers over the years before their falling out.
Dan Macarthur is handling the cinematography in the flick and tweeted recently about a ‘cool’ fight scene that was shot on the 14th.
The movie so far called ‘Thala 55’ but rumoured to be titled Aayiram Thottaakal (1000 bullets) is going to be Thala Ajithkumar’s fifty fifth movie and has fans everywhere eagerly waiting after the humongous success of his last film Veeram.
Anushka Shetty has been confirmed as the lead female actor in this film though rumours about Trisha Krishnan also playing a pivotal role still persist albeit without confirmation from the crew of the movie.
It was also reported earlier that Gautham himself will appear in a cameo role thought the director immediately slammed it down. So, rumours about the movie whilst spreading like wildfire seem to only speak of its popularity and hype – not necessarily the truth.
The project was officially launched in a low key function on April 9th and has Ajith playing a cop with a sensational, new, close cut, clean shaven look revealed just a couple of days back via candid shots from the location.
This is Gautham’s first movie with Ajith and the director said he greatly appreciates working with an actor who treats everybody with respect and dignity.
