Performances:

Niharika has shown a lot of maturity and improvement in her acting this time. Playing the role of a confused girl, this young actress sure took care of her expressions and performance. Also, she looked extremely beautiful in this film. Sumanth Ashwin also improved a lot in terms of performance and dialogue delivery when compared to his previous films. However, he could have done much better. Murali Sharma and Tulasi played the bride’s parents and convinced with their jobs. Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh are the groom’s parents and did their roles well. Also, the veteran actress Annapoorna made her screen presence felt.

Technical Aspects:

‘Happy Wedding’ narrates a simple, cute family story with some impactful dialogues. Despite starting on an interesting note, the director failed to maintain the flow and the pace got reduced over time. A few flaws in the taking can be ignored as it is the debut of Lakshman Karya and he still has a long way to go. The production values by Pocket Cinema are just average. Their collaboration with UV creations helped them in giving a decent rice look for the film. Thaman’s BGM is extraordinary. The songs by Shakthikanth Karthick are good. Visuals by cinematographer Bal Reddy are pretty good.

Verdict:

The story is more relatable as all the characters are close to the reality. The first half is super good with the romantic track and the comedy. The interval bang where the ex-boyfriend returns will be the plot twist. The second half fails to reach the expectations as it lacked in terms of pace. The slow narration might be annoying for some audience. The movie has shown the reality and the youth can easily connect to all the three major characters easily which gives them an entertaining ride. On the end, the movie ends on a disappointing note.
