Brahmanandam is the comedy king of Telugu cinema. He is celebrating his birthday today. The comedy star turns 55.
Brahmanandam Kanneganti was born on 1st February 1956 in Mullapudi, Andhra Pradesh. He is an MA (Telugu) and was a lecturer in Telugu in a college in Attili before he made his debut in Jandhyala’s “Aha Naa Pellanta” which has since become a cult classic among Telugu comedy films.
He holds a Guinness book record for acting in more than 750 films in a single language (Telugu)
Brahmanandam has two sons and the elder son Gautam has been introduced to the Telugu film industry through Pallakilo Pellikooturu. The film is directed by renowned choreographer and writer, Chandrabose’s wife Suchitra.
