As the actress celebrates her 29th Birthday, we take a look at how she established herself.
Kajal started her career as a model. This was soon after she graduated from college. Reportedly, there was pressure on her to continue her studies. However, she chose to do otherwise.
She made her Bollywood debut with Vivek Oberoi-Aishwarya Rai starrer “Kyun Ho Gaya Na” in 2004. However, she went rather unnoticed in this film.
kajal made her Tollywood debut with the 2007 film, “Lakshmi Kalyanam”. The movie did not make a lot of money at the box office but the industry insiders were smart enough to spot her talent.
Her big breakthrough came with “Magadheera”. This movie, also starring Ram Charan, broke all previous industry records and established its lead pair as one of the most talented and sought after stars in the industry.
Kajal continues to make her presence felt with hit films such as “Singham” and “Special 26” in Bollywood ; and many movies in Tollywood.
She will be seen next in Ram Charan’s “Govindudu Andari Vadele“ and Jr. NTR-Puri Jagannath’s next untitled venture.
