Gunasekhar and his lavish sets

Director Guna Sekhar, who is well known for his spending on big budgets and lavish sets, is leaving no stone turned for his next mega opus, Rudramadevi. Anushka Shetty plays the royal and valiant Rani Rudramadevi of Kakatiya dynasty. Huge sets, expensive costumes, mindblowing ornaments – all these have been a part of this heavily expensive project. Adding to the same are three new exhaustive and grand sets, where Guna is trying to recreate the Diviseema area, an ancient village of Pakanada and a certain long lost tunnel which used to run from the Orugallu fort to the 1000 pillar temple. The film has finished 40 percent of shooting. The new schedule is now on at Annapurna studios. Ace music composer, maestro Ilayaraja is composing the music for Rudramadevi.
