Aggressive hero Gopichand’s film Andhrudu is now being remade in Tamil with Mahesh in the lead role. Don’t think that Prince Mahesh, this Mahesh is, who was acted in Tamil film titled "Angadi Theru" which was dubbed in Telugu with the title "Shopping Mall".
Andhrudu film is about a police officer from AP who goes to Bihar to save the family of her lover from the clutches of a local politician. In Telugu version Gopichand and Gauri Pandit played the main lead roles. The Telugu version was directed by Paruchuri Murali. In Tollywood the movie turned as an average movie.
Now in Tamil Mahesh and Anusha are playing the lead roles. This film is being directed by Sampurna. For this film Mahesh has gained seven kgs weight to suit for that police officer role.
The director said that the movie has been completed the shooting part and presently the post production works of the movie are going on. He also said that few changes were made from the original movie to suit the Tamil nativity.
We have to wait and see how the Tamil Tambhis will receive this movie.
