Looks like former cricketer Gautam Gambhir is all set to enter into the active politics. Gautham is one of the rare cricketers who are actively vocal about the things happening in society. The Delhi based cricketer regularly voices his opinions on society through Twitter.
The latest reports suggest that Bharatiya Janta Pary (BJP) is keen on roping in Gambhir into politics. They are planning to make him contest from the New Delhi constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election. The party heads are apparently in talks with Gambir currently.
Gambhir recently fired on Delhi’s chief minister Aravind Kejriwal for wasting so much money on publicity and advertising. This incident drew the attention of BJP on him. They felt that he would be an add on for their party. An official announcement will be made once Gambhir accepts the offer of BJP.
