Bajirao Mastani director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and hero Ranveer Singh are now part of an FIR lodged by a lawyer in Pune.
In Detail: Bajirao Mastani team was present at the Bhor Rajwada court in Pune for filming crucial scenes. Since the scene was important public watching the shoot were asked to leave the place. In the process, few security guards mishandled a person called Wajidkhan Rahim Khan-Bidkar, who is a lawyer.
The lawyer gave a complaint about the whole team of Bajirao Mastani, especially Bhansali and lead actor Ranveer Singh for manhandling.
Though, the film unit defended saying that “No one was manhandled present on the sets. The crew has been extremely professional and ensured that the show took off smoothly” Bhansali’s spokesperson said.
Bhansali’s epic Bajirao Mastani tells the story of Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao, and his second wife, Mastani. Ranveer and Deepika Padukone play the title role characters, protagonists while Priyanka Chopra plays Bajirao’s first wife.
The film is scheduled to release in India on December 18.
