Taking whole of Film Fraternity by surprise, the makers of Finding Fanny, have taken a very bold step and announced that the first premiere show of Finding Fanny would be held on August 25th.
Yes! 17 days before the release, the show will be held and that solely aims to garners responses from Film Critics and movie-goers. The makers are fully confident of their product and do not feel the risk of flipping opinions.
After the gamut of positive reviews the film’s trailer has received, the sense of confidence instilled in the makers is commendable. Also with such veteran cast, the film is enroute to creating a very good niche for itself. Pankaj Kapur, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor, are being loved in the first teaser of the film.
Hence even though the choice of holding the premiere so early is a little risky, but for a film like Finding Fanny, we say it is absolutely worth the risk.
