40 year old, son of Producer-Director Prakash Mehra, Amit Mehra passed away on Saturday morning due to cardiac arrest. He was the second son of the late filmmaker Prakash Mehra.
Amit was found unconscious by his family at his residence and was rushed to the nearest hospital where he was declared dead. The reason of his death was said to be a sudden cardiac arrest.
Amit was known for the 2013 remake of Zanjeer starring Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra, which was originally made by his father Prakash Chopra in 1973. Amit was the second son and his brothers Sumeet and Puneet mourn their brother’s death. The cremation took place at an electric crematorium at Oshiwara, Mumbai on Saturday.
His loss is mourned by many Bollywood celebrities and we wish may his soul rest in peace!
