Cast and Performance
Sumanth Ashwin is okay as Gopalam. He seemed a bit over acted in his role at times and he need to improve a lot in his expressions. He seemed okay as Gopalam, the fashion designer. Manasa Himavarsha as Gedela Rani is good and looks nice. Manali Rathod looks super cool as Ammulu. Anisha Ambrose looks gorgeous and performs well in her role. Pandu is good in his role as hero friend. Krishna Bhagavan and all other actors did according to their roles.
Story of this fashion designer s/o ladies tailor seems interesting but the way it’s screenplay is written makes it bad. Dialogues are okay. There is nothing great in terms of content to rave about.
Songs composed by Manisharma are good and nice to hear. Background score is uplifting and Manisharma proved his knack with the talent he has in composing background score. Cinematography is superb and the locales of Godavari are shown well. They are eye feast for the audience who like greenery. Editing is okay and it could have been a lot better. All the songs are well shot. Production values are apt and colorful.
Ladies tailor which was released in past as Rajendra Prasad as lead role was a super hit and can be termed as classic and is still considered as one of the best movies of Vamshi. Now, the story of ladies tailor ‘s son Gopalam came as Fashion designer s/o ladies tailor to entertain audience to the core like the first movie. This movie has failed to entertain audience with it’s badly written screenplay and out of the way comedy which failed to tickle and make audience laugh. There are a lot of irritating scenes in the movie and they bore the audience to the core. The way talented director Vamsi narrated an interesting story in a boring way makes audience feel bad for him. Except for creatively shot songs there is nothing to experience in this movie. To sum up, avoid this movie and watch Ladies tailor again to have some laughs.
