Actress Sada who had worked with the likes of Ajith and Vikram is making a comeback after a long hiatus with his female-centric film Torch Light.
Sada took the footsteps of Nayanthara and decided to launch her own banner soon and her first production will be a film directed by Majid. It is heard that she was highly impressed with Majid’s work and the new film will also have a social relevance.
Torch Light has a sensitive subject as it talks about sex workers on the highways and their sad plight. In a recent media interaction, Majid reveals, “Torch Light is a film which would definitely create awareness among the masses and expose how poor girls are sexually exploited and are used as a ‘commodity’. Since the film has a huge message to impart, understanding that such stories need to be told, Sada came forward and gave her nod for the challenging role after I spoke to close to 40 heroines. All of them were apprehensive to act as a hooker”.
