It is already known that director Harish Shankar is currently working with hero Varun Tej for the film, Valmiki. This is an official remake of Tamil super hit movie Jigarthanda. The shoot of this film was started a couple of months back but the project is being let down by a few setbacks every now and then.
A few days back, it was reported that Pooja Hegde, who was supposed to act as the heroine in the film, has walked out of it due to remuneration issues. Now, it is being heard that music director Devi Sri Prasad has also walked out and he is replaced by another composer, Mickey J Meyer.
Apparently, both Harish and Devi had creative differences which ultimately resulted in the exit of Devi. Eventually, the offer landed in the lap of Mickey, who is waiting for a big project for a long time. Stay tuned for more updates on this news.
