‘Bichagadu’ fame Vijay Antony has been in the news for past few days for attending the shooting of his new film in a drunken state.
When questioned, Vijay said that he was actually doing an item song in an upcoming Tamil film, and he felt the need to attend the shooting in a drunken state to bring an authentic feel to it. Despite his clarifications, criticism doesn’t seem to cease for his drunken act in public.
On the work front, post the gigantic success of ‘Bichagadu’, Vijay Antony’s next film in a lead role is ‘Saitan’. The Tamil film is being dubbed into Telugu as ‘Bethaludu’. The Telugu distribution rights were already acquired for a lucrative sum, and the film is expected to enjoy good openings with people still reeling in ‘Bichagadu’ euphoria.
