Director Shankar recently scored a blockbuster with the sci-fi action thriller 2.0. The maverick filmmaker had worked for more than three years for the film. Finally, all his hard work paid off when the movie became a huge success. But Shankar, without taking any rest, has started his next film Indian 2.
Being made as a sequel to the 1995 hit film of the same name, the sequel also features Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Kajal Aggarwal has been signed up to play the female lead. The shoot of the film was started a few weeks back in a specially erected set in Pollachi.
But few days after the shoot, Shankar halted it as he was not satisfied with few works on the set. According to the reports, Shankar felt that the set was not in the way he expected it to be and asked the production designer to make the necessary changes. The shoot will resume once the set works get finished as per the suggested changes.
