The success of Mahanati has boosted the trend of biopics in Telugu film industry now. After Mahanati, another interesting, as well as exciting biopic for the audiences, is on the life of Sr NTR. Teja was supposed to direct the project initially but it did not happen. The director had to walk out of the project. Krish Jagarlamudi entered the project and he is currently busy with the pre-production works. On one side, Krish is handling the post-production activities of his Bollywood film Manikarnika and on the other side, he is looking at the casting process of NTR.
There is a rumor that Balakrishna and Krish are having a difference of opinion. Krish wanted to do the movie in two parts as he felt that the span of the movie and story is high. Krish wanted to elevate Sr NTR properly with two parts. The director is very keen on the proposal from the beginning but Balayya Babu is dead against the decision. Krish wanted to release the second part of the film with a gap of six months. Balakrishna clearly stated Krish that he wanted the film to be released in a single part.
The discussions are still going on. More details about the project will be out soon.
