The teasers of Ram Charan’s much awaited Dhruva and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s eagerly awaited historical film ‘Gauthamiputhra Sathakarni’ (GPS) were unveiled on the eve of Dasara festival, 11th Oct and the response was euphoric.
Both the teasers clocked 1 million views in less than 24 hours. While Dhruva teaser took 17 hours, GPS took 20 hours to reach the milestone. However, both these teasers failed to beat the record set by NTR and Mohanlal starrer ‘Janatha Garage’ teaser, which reached the same 1 million views milestone in a record 6 hours.
The names of NTR, Mohanlal and Koratala Siva made the JG teaser clock record views. Since the people were busy with festivities, the teasers of Dhruva and GPS might have lagged behind JG by a good margin. But, Dhruva and GPS teasers have proved that both these films have huge hype and they will draw record crowds to theaters on opening day.
