Sushant Singh Rajput had been pouring blood and sweat in prepping for the legendary character Detective Byomkesh Bakshy and the first teaser of the film sets the tone just right for the theme of Expect The Unexpected.
As soon as the teaser begins to unfurl, it will teleport you to 1943 and brings on the platter the flavor of Old Bengal. Though we don’t see Sushant’s face, we surely see his classic Bengali get up. The minute long teaser is gripping and sets the tone just right.
Drawn from the fictional character created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, filmmaker Dibakar Banjeree has brought Byomkesh alive on screen. He is that ultimate man with wits and intelligence to solve the case. Fresh out of college, Byomkesh finds himself against an evil genius. Set in the 40s, the contemporary interpretation is something we all are looking forward to.
The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Anand Tiwari and Swastika Mukherjee in pivotal roles and is slated to release in February 2015.
