Prajarajyam party president Chiranjeevi got involved in yet another court case !A court in Narsampet in Warangal district on Tuesday issued summons to Prajarajyam Party president Chiranjeevi ordering him to attend personally in connection with a case.
Munsif junior civil judge A Veeranna served the summons to Chiranjeevi asking him to attend the court on March 23 in connection with an attack in 2008 when eggs were pelted on the latter during his Praja Ankita Yatra on November 4. The court took serious view of the absence of Chiranjeevi during the proceedings here on Tuesday.
Chiranjeevi’s PA Ramalingeswar Reddy and advocate Ambati Sreenu represented on Chiranjeevi’s behalf during the hearing. TRS student wing district president Ravi and activists Ramu, Ramesh and a few others were arrested and a case was filed by the police for hurling eggs on Chiranjeevi when he was touring Narsampet.Peeved over his neutral stand on separate Telangana issue, the students pelted eggs on Chiranjeevi.
