Coimbatore celebrates the death of kidnapper-rapist

Residents of the Range Gowder Street in Coimbatore celebrated Diwali on Tuesday rejoicing over the death of the kidnapper-rapist who had killed 10-year old Muskaan and seven-year old Hrithik Jain in one of the shocking crimes ever in the city. The residents of the region shunned Diwali celebrations and were mourning for the last 12 days. They informed that they couldn’t celebrate Diwali without those two kids who loved Diwali very much. However, following the news of the cab driver by the police, the city erupted into jubilant Diwali celebrations and a group of taxi drivers burst crackers at the Police Commissioner’s office and informed that the killing of the rapist has lifted their faith in the Police. The two kids were picked up by the temporary cab driver while waiting for their regular cab, taken to Pollachi and were drowned in a canal. The accused was killed in a police encounter while trying to escape custody.
